This Maternity photo session taken at a local beach in St. Augustine, FL was probably one of the most gorgeous sessions I’ve had to date! Dana and Thomas were the most adorable couple and you could see Dana glowing throughout our entire time together. They were natural models and the way they moved together was so natural, the love and excitement was radiating from them!!

Sometimes couples debate about whether or not they should get Maternity photos done, which is so understandable because the time leading up to welcoming a new arrival can be hectic with so much preparation involved… but they ARE worth it and I’ll tell you why: this is a HUGE part of your family’s story! Speaking from personal experience here, I chose not to do maternity photos when I was pregnant with my first baby and completely regret it. I wasn’t exactly radiant like gorgeous Dana here, but I look back and wish I had documented this time with my husband and how special it really was. We were so excited to meet our baby and now we have almost no photos to show our son because the time had just flown by and we hadn’t really made a ton of time to take those photos! Can you relate?? As parents, even soon-to-be parents, we just have so much on our plates that sometimes we simply don’t have time to capture those little moments like we mean to. I am so guilty of this, so I encourage every mama-to-be who reaches out to me to celebrate this beautiful time by letting me document the love, excitement, and, for many couples out there, the last time they will ever be a family of two. Life is too short to skip the celebration of a new arrival.
