St. Augustine Outdoor Baby Photo Session

Typically all newborn sessions take place in my private studio located in St. Augustine FL, but every once in a while I will have a photo shoot that is outside and the photos are AMAZING!  Outdoor photo sessions depend on the weather temperature (it needs to be warm enough for baby to be comfortable) and natural light (golden hour right before sunset is perfect).  The backdrops, prop set ups, and fine art gowns are replaced with beautiful outdoor locations, natural props like flowers, and a family’s personal dress style, be it casual or formal.  I still bring baby props like buckets, handmade felt props for newborns to snuggle with, and my boutique wraps and bucket stuffers.  What I personally love most about outdoor photoshoots with babies is the gorgeous natural lighting and organic feel that is offered by nature’s elements.  It’s just a very different feel from being in the studio and can suit a family that spends most of their time outside together, like Heather’s family photos posted below.  Go ahead and take a peek at how stunning this family is and message me today if you’d like me to create a baby session that fits you and your family’s personal style!
