Beach Family Photo Shoot in St. Augustine FL

St. Augustine FL offers a large variety of amazing beach locations to do family photo shoots at, we are so lucky to live here! This gorgeous family chose the beach just south of Marine Land to do their photos at because of the interesting rocks that just so happen to add a TON of texture to their photos. Nick and Anna decided on jewel tones for their outfits which photographed perfectly with the beach waves and beautiful sunset colors. This is one of my absolute favorite locations in the Saint Augustine area because there is so much for the kids to do with tidal pools, rock climbing, and looking for seashells. I feel like when you book a family photo session with young children we really need to go in with some family fun activities that will engage your kids and allow everyone to relax and be their natural selves. The beach is a popular choice because it seems to happen so organically and there is very little time to worry about how everything will flow and whether or not your kids will enjoy themselves… kids ALWAYS enjoy themselves at the beach!

I loved being able to see this family bond during their session and couldn’t resist taking a stand alone photo of this gorgeous mama, she was absolutely breathtaking! I always try to take at least one photo of moms by themselves because let’s be honest: we rarely get to have photos of just us alone, we are always so busy trying to do a million things and don’t make time for it!
