St. Augustine FL Baby Boy Milestone Session

Milestone sessions in my private studio located in St. Augustine typically take place when your baby hits their Big Milestones around 3, 6, and 9 months old. These are so much fun because we get to celebrate those smiles, sweet baby rolls, and even first steps! My studio is full service and provides all the props you could imagine including hand-made flokatis, boutique head bands, and luxury gowns that encourage moms to jump in front of the camera with their little. I have even been known to stay up waaay too late the night before a session hand sewing one-of-a-kind dresses and baby boy pants to suit unique milestone session… sometimes I just can’t help myself!

This particular milestone session was for a special local family here in St. Augustine and I feel like my hand made olive green jumper was made for Little M and that rust colored gown was sewn for his mom. They have such a special bond and I was so happy to grab a few intimate shots of Little M taking a break to nurse and feel grounded again by his mama’s love. Don’t be surprised if your own little one comes in and needs some extra lovin’ either with cuddles, snacks, or nursing… this is completely normal and shows that your baby is adjusting to their photo session with a healthy dose of reservation. My own son needed extra time to adjust to new situations so I never rush little ones and let them naturally come out of their shell and show me their true personalities so I can capture all those facial expressions for you (and your baby!) to enjoy as they grow older and more confident. My son still loves looking at his baby photos and asking about his more reserved personality when he was young; trust me, your little one will too!
